Happy to announce the publication of No Chair Press's newest chapbook, The Unacknowledged Legislator by Anna M. Evans!

About Anna M. Evans:
Anna M. Evans is a poet, editor, and veteran of several local political campaigns. She currently serves as the Democratic Committee Chair in Hainesport, New Jersey, and is active in the Burlington County Democratic Women’s Co-operative. She read a poem from this collection, “Not My Son,” at a protest outside her former Congressman’s office in 2018. He lost the election and the poem was nominated for a Pushcart Prize, although these things are probably not related.

Born and raised in the Midlands of England, before moving to the United States in 2000, she has no plans to run for President.

Her latest book, Under Dark Waters: Surviving the Titanic is available from Able Muse Press, and her previous sonnet collection, Sisters & Courtesans, is published by White Violet Press.

Anna is a former Editor of the Raintown Review, and is an Advisory Board member for Poetry by the Sea, a Global Conference. She teaches poetry at West Windsor Art Center, and Writing at Rowan College at Burlington County.
